PIGEON SHOOTING
Peter Theobald
You will never see a scruffy looking woodpigeon unless it is diseased or old, so it makes sense to reflect this when you present your decoy pattern.

This means keeping the colours fresh and sharp, particularly the white neck flashes which signal to incoming birds that all is well.

Make sure you use matt paint when you touch them up, so as not to make them shine in bright light.
