BASC has sent a letter to all local newspapers in the UK highlighting the benefits of game shooting and game meat.

It makes reference to the increase in the popularity of game and to some of the conservation benefits associated with shooting.
It also promotes BASC?s Taste of Game campaign.
Debbie Collins from BASC said: “The letter is intended to make the argument that shooting is good for the economy, good for the environment and that game meat is good to eat. The local press has an important and very substantial readership and by printing BASC’s letter about the benefits of game shooting and game meat, they can encourage even more people to try a taste of game.”
