Find out more.PC Barry Jenkins, aged 36, has been cleared of hitting farmer Simon Harrap, aged 58, over the head with a baton at the Parliament Square protests in September 2004. Mr Harrap, from Farnham, in Surrey, was among 20,000 people who gathered to protest against the Hunting Act.
When protesters and police clashed, Mr Harrap received a head wound for which PC Jenkins was subsequently charged with actual bodily harm. PC Jenkins was cleared at Southwark crown court.
