Full Time Gunroom Sales Associate
Carl Russell & Co is one of Hertfordshire’s leading names in the shooting industry. The company offers a wide selection of firearms, optics, clothing and accessories. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about shooting sports to work in a dynamic customer-facing environment.
Description of role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, handling sales both face-to-face and by phone, managing enquiries, maintaining accurate records on the gun register and will work closely with the team to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations. Primarily based in our Gunroom this is a full-time, permanent position within a busy and well established retail environment.

Hours of work:
Tuesday – Friday 9.00am until 5.30pm and Saturday 9.00am until 4.00pm.

Salary:
Competitive salary (dependent on experience)
Ideal candidate:
• Enthusiastic about shooting sports, with a sound knowledge of firearms, shotguns, ammunition
and shooting accessories
• Experience in a similar retail environment or gunroom would be a bonus, though not essential
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable using IT systems
• Organised, confident and proactive with a good attention to detail
