Find out more.HRH The Prince of Wales has spoken out about predators in this week’s issue of Country Life, which he has guest edited. He wrote: “How we manage wildlife is a great problem. Nobody wants to kill anything unnecessarily, but any population that has a tendency to expand rapidly and predate — or have an impact on another vulnerable species — needs to be measured. If people hadn’t done this for hundreds of years we would have no upland waders. I’ve tried and tried to get organisations to sit round a table to discuss this, but it’s not easy.”
The prince commissioned a piece on predation by Shooting Times columnist Robin Page.
