ShootingUK29 November 2024
SGC Group has been appointed as the exclusive distributor for Benelli and Franchi products across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. This new partnership, announced on November 29, 2024, is set to commence on January 1, 2025, marking a new chapter for the prestigious brands.
A strategic alliance
The SGC Group has solidified its position as an industry leader with this latest agreement. Gary Lamburn, Managing Director of the SGC Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the new partnership: “We are delighted to be appointed as UK and Republic of Ireland distributors for Benelli and Franchi. These brands embody the highest standards of quality, innovation, and tradition, aligning perfectly with our commitment to providing customers with the industry’s best products and services.”
Benelli: Innovation meets tradition
Benelli, an Italian firearms manufacturer, has long been celebrated for its cutting-edge technologies and stylish designs. The brand is particularly well known for its Inertia Driven System, A.I (Advanced Impact), and BE.S.T. surface treatment, which has revolutionised shooting experiences for game shots and competitive shooters alike.
As part of the agreement, SGC Group will distribute a comprehensive range of Benelli and Franchi products, including popular models such as the Benelli Lupo, 828 S, and a wide range of semi-automatic shotguns. From Franchi, the range will feature the Affinity 3, Horizon All Terrain, and other sought-after models. The company will also provide expert advice, maintenance services, and after-sales support. The SGC Group plans to showcase the range at major events throughout 2025, starting with the British Shooting Show at the NEC in February
Franchi: Rediscovering a classic
While Benelli brings cutting-edge technology to the table, Franchi offers a rich heritage dating back to 1868. Known for their quality shotguns and rifles, including semi-automatic, over-and-under, and side-by-side models, Franchi represents a blend of tradition and craftsmanship that the SGC Group is eager to reintroduce.
Gary Lamburn commented on the potential of the Franchi brand: “As a company, SGC feels this great Italian marque is a brand that is underappreciated in the UK and one that many end users should take another look at.” This sentiment suggests that the SGC Group sees significant potential for growth and renewed interest in Franchi’s offerings.
Looking ahead: Events and exhibitions
As part of their strategy to promote these new product lines, the SGC Group has announced plans to exhibit at major industry events in 2025. The British Shooting Show, in particular, will serve as a platform for the company to showcase the full range of Benelli and Franchi products.
These exhibitions will provide an excellent opportunity for you to get hands-on experience with the latest models from both brands. It will also allow the SGC Group to demonstrate the unique features and technologies that set Benelli and Franchi apart from other brands.
Aboo Cattran, Director of SGC Group, emphasised the company’s commitment to excellence: “This partnership is a testament to our continued dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction. We look forward to introducing these exceptional products to our customers and providing them with the same level of availability, service, and expertise that they have come to expect from the SGC.”
If you’re eager to learn more about the new product ranges that will be available, the SGC Group invites you to get in touch with them via email or by phone.
