Mat Manning

An airgun specialist, journalist and broadcaster, Mat lives in Somerset, where he grew up and took his first shot at about the age of 10. He studied countryside management at Cannington College before reading journalism at Glamorgan University, and began his career on newspapers. Mat has contributed to virtually every UK fieldsports title over a career spanning more than 25 years, editing a couple of them along the way, and is a Shooting Times contributor. He has built a firm following on YouTube over the past 12 years and acts as airgun adviser to BASC. He is the author of Hunting with Air Rifles: The Complete Guide and Air Rifle Hunting Through the Seasons. A respected authority on live quarry tactics, Mat is a trusted reviewer of guns, optics and accessories.
