Mark Camoccio

An airgun specialist and one of the longest-serving reviewers in the field, Mark writes on airguns for ShootingUK and is particularly associated with spring-powered rifles, on which he has written extended tutorials on getting the best from any springer, as well as pre-charged pneumatics, CO2 and replica-style airguns and air pistols. A competitive Field Target and Hunter Field Target shooter, he shoots a modified Air Arms S400 in competition, recalls the early days of Field Target when the spring air rifle was the tool of choice, and has reported on the World Hunter Field Target Championships. Mark also compiles regular round-ups of the best hunting, target and starter air rifles and accessories, and reviews airguns aimed at younger and junior shooters.
