The judges were mightily impressed by the Hawke Frontier as a mid-range scope. The quality of image it provided when out foxing was comparable to bits of kit at a far higher price.
The Pulsar won praise for simplicity
The Pulsar Accolade XP50 thermal-imaging binocular impressed the judges. The X-shaped layout of the button control was more comfortable to use than the older in-line style and the small cut-out to fit the bridge of the nose was commented on as a clever design.
