The Boxall and Edmiston 12-bore Square Sideplated over-under shotgun was launched at the British shooting show 2013.

Building on the success of their side-by-sides, the company is now focusing on a range of over-unders with a 20-bore due for launch at this year’s CLA Game Fair, with a 28-bore in the works.

Peter Boxall, former manufacturing director of Holland and Holland, and his team have designed and manufactured the over-under at the Boxall and Edmiston factory in Shropshire.
The gun builds on the success of 2012’s round action OU which has rapidly become a British classic.
Peter said: “The round action over-under was a first for the British gun trade offering bespoke options that could not be found in this price range. The square sideplated over-under is the sister gun to the round action and it’s a project we’re hugely proud to launch after many years of designing, manufacturing and testing.”

The over-under is the latest edition to the Boxall and Edmiston range, joining the Boxlock series and Sidelock.
Two models of over-under are currently available, the Round Action and a Side-plated Square Action – each model has several bespoke features available.
Bespoke features include choice of barrel length, choke size (Teague available), rib options, engraving options, bespoke stocking, stocking style, fore-end style and many more.
