The British Shooting & Countryman Show will take place at Event City in Manchester on 19-20 September 2020 and on 18th & 19th September 2021, 17th and 18th September 2022
The September event was originally due to be held in Liverpool but was banned after action by the Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson. A subsequent venue was found in Manchester at Event City, which has sufficient space to host the trade and retail stands and around 35,000 visitors from the UK and Europe.
John Allison, managing director of The British Shooting Show stated: ‘’Our additional show in the north will again see manufacturers exhibiting along with retailers, plus a massive 30 lane indoor airgun range, 24 practical pistols ranges, demonstration arenas and Fieldsports TV with live broadcast throughout the show.‘’
The event is called The British Shooting & Countryman Show because it will also include fishing equipment.
Visitors to the show can expect an increasing line-up of exhibitors from continental Europe including Finland and Norway due to the weak pound. A spokesman explained: “It’s cheaper for them to exhibit in the UK and much better value. We’re selling a lot of stands to companies wanting to come across and it’s all looking very promising.”
