Glanusk Country Fair and Horse Trials 2012

A great line up of sport and entertainment awaits you at the 2012 Glanusk International Horse Trials & Country Fair!

With many levels of the sport of British Eventing taking place, there really is something for everyone.

Competitions range from BE90; Novice; Intermediate; National Junior Championship and CCI* International.

This year, we are proud to launch the WELSH OPEN, a new competition for the professionals of the sport and one that promises to set the scene for some great spectator sport at Glanusk.

International Course Designer Eric Winter has created four superb Cross Country Courses that flow over the 400 acre Parklands of Glanusk Estate.

Over the weekend, visitors to the COUNTRY FAIR ARENA will see a myriad of country pursuit displays to include Lusitano Quadrille, Miniature Horses, Falconry, Dog Scurries & Retrievals.

The 2012 fair will also have a Championship Sheepdog Trials which will culminate in a Double Gather on Sunday afternoon.

Over the last couple of years, The Glanusk International Horse Trials & Country Fair have developed a superb range of exhibitors for the enjoyment of all visitors and they also have a very popular Children?s Play Area which includes a Fun Fair; Archery; Mini Quads; Face Painting and Climbing Wall.

Glanusk Estate is a stunning location set within the Brecon Beacons National Park.
