Lancashire Police has been receiving reports of wallaby sightings in the woods around Winmarleigh and Nateby.

Lancashire Police’s Dave Kerfoot posted an image of the animal crossing a road (pictured) on the Garstang and Over Wyre Facebook page.
In January, a local resident contacted the police about a large black cat in the area.
PC Kerfoot said: “At first, I suspected that it was just residents in Winmarleigh wanting a Winmarleigh Wallaby to rival the Pilling Panther.”
