British Olympic Shooting Squad: William Evans and Bisley Shooting Ground are inviting guns to raise money for the British Olympic Shooting Squad.
The event, to be held at Bisley Shooting Ground, Surrey, on May 29, will see guns tackling 100 challenging targets alongside members of the 2012 British Olympic Shooting Squad and GB Team, including world record trap shot Peter Wilson and British team coach Ian Coley.
Both men will be on hand to offer one-to-one coaching on targets including high pheasant, rising teal and bolting rabbits. A team flush will round off the day’s shooting and will be followed by an auction.
A selection of William Evans guns, including the ‘St James’ over & under, ‘Pall Mall’ and ‘Connaught’ side by sides, will be available on the day with the British Olympic Shooting Squad.
The format for the day with the British Olympic Shooting Squad is as follows:
09:00 – Arrive for bacon rolls, tea & coffee
10:00 – Shooting commences
11:15 – Refreshment Break
13:00 – Shooting finishes
13:30 – Lunch
15:00 – Auction
15:30 – Depart
Cost: £200 per gun or £1,000 per team of five. Gun hire, cartridges and clays included. Funds raised will go to support the British Olympic Shooting Squad ahead of London 2012 and the World Championships in August.
