20 reasons to visit The Game Fair in 2021

The Game Fair in 2021  – after the last 18 months we’re not really sure we need any reasons to attend, other than that it will be a highly enjoyable outing (and they’ve been in v short supply lately). Here’s what you can look forward to.

1. It’s in a beautiful location, Ragley Hall near Alcester from 23-25 July 2021.
2. Want to test your clayshooting skills? You’ll find plenty of competitions going on at The Shooting Line, with prizes including Yildiz shotguns.
3. Enter The Game Fair in 2021 open shooting competitions and you could win an Isuzu for 6 months
4. You’ll find plenty of useful lectures going on in Gunmakers’ Row, including talks on steel shot, proof marks and proofing and insights into new medical checks.
5. Looking for a new or second-hand gun? Gunmakers’ Row will have the largest choice of guns and accessories in the country.
6. Make a staycation of it by booking glamping and camping. Why not camp alongside friends?

12. If you’re in need of some inspiration, visit The Field Kitchen Theatre where you can watch how to prepare simple and tasty dishes, as well as learn about food provenance, sustainability and best practice not only from chefs but also the people who shoot, fish, hunt and forage.

13. If you’re a keen gardener you’ll find new inspiration in the variety of different garden designs on show.
14. Enjoy putting your chosen vehicle to the test on the purpose built 4×4 course. Inclines, rumble strips and water set to test all terrain vehicles.
15. Whether you want to catch your first fish or brush up on your technique, head to the picturesque lake for a taster angling session run by the experienced coaches from the Canal & River Trust.
16. The Gundog Arena and Sporting Dog Pavilion are always favourites with children.

18. Park your beloved Defender in the Defender line up. Will it get into the Guinness Book of Records? And if you’ve ever considered having a bespoke Defender or having yours restored then you should visit this stand.
