The Paralympics takes place from 24 August to 5 September. This year Team GB sent seven shooting athletes from across the UK to the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.

Issy Bailey, 27, from Cirencester

Disciplines: Women’s 10m Air Pistol, SH1. Mixed 25m Pistol, SH1.
Tokyo is Issy’s second Paralympic Games, having previously competed at Rio 2016.

Matt Skelhon

Matt Skelhon

Matt Skelhon, 36, from Peterborough

Disciplines: Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone, SH1. Mixed 50m Rifle Prone, SH1.
Matt scored a 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 gold at Beijing 2008, while at London 2012 he took a silver in the same event and a Bronze medal in the 50m Air Rifle Prone competition.

James Bevis

James Bevis

James Bevis, 45, from Hereford

Disciplines: Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone, SH2. Mixed 50m Prone Rifle, SH2.
James made his way onto the Podium at London 2012, with a bronze in the 10m Air Rifle Prone SH2 event.

Ryan Cockbill

Ryan Cockbill

Ryan Cockbill, 31, from Aldridge

Disciplines: Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing, SH2. Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone, SH2. 50m Prone Rifle, SH2.
Ryan competed at both London 2012 and Rio 2016, narrowly missing out on a chance at a medal each time.

Tim Jeffery

Tim Jeffery

Tim Jeffery, 25, from Newbury

Disciplines: Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing, SH2. Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone, SH2. 50m Prone Rifle, SH2.
Tim made his Paralympic debut at Rio 2016 where he finished 10th in the Mixed Air Rifle Prone SH2 event.

Lorraine Lambert

Lorraine Lambert

Lorraine Lambert, 48, from Portsmouth

Disciplines: Women’s 50 Metre Rifle 3 Position, SH1. Women’s 10 Metre Air Rifle Standing, SH1. Mixed 50m Rifle Prone, SH1.
Lorraine finished fifth in the Women’s 50 Metre Rifle 3 Positions SH1 competition at Rio 2016. Since then she has claimed silverware at world class competitions across the globe.

Lesley Stewart, 42, from Blairgowrie

Disciplines: Women’s 50 Metre Rifle 3 Position, SH1. Women’s 10 Metre Air Rifle Standing, SH1.
Tokyo marks Lesley’s first Paralympic appearance. She was lined up to compete at Rio 2016, but serious injury kept her from the stands.
