BASC has announced that its successful National Taste of Game week will be extended into a two-weeklong event this year. It is scheduled to take place from 6 to 20 November and has been co-ordinated and publicised by BASC as part of its Game’s On initiative to promote the benefits of game meat as a local, wild and nutritious food.

One of the highlights will be celebrity chef and Michelin-star pub owner Mike Robinson’s game tasting event in London’s famous Borough Market. He said: “I am delighted that the event is becoming so popular. Everyone is loving game — the proof is in the fact that restaurants that serve game are getting busier.”
