The role has been created to support the continued growth of Scott Country International and its wider brand portfolio, with responsibilities spanning digital marketing, eCommerce, content, product launches, events, customer communications and campaign delivery.

What does the marketing executive role involve?

The successful candidate will work across a varied marketing programme supporting leading brands within the thermal imaging, night vision, optics and outdoor technology sectors. The role will include involvement in digital campaigns, social media, email marketing, product launches, website and eCommerce activity, exhibitions, events and wider brand development.

The position will also provide the opportunity to work closely with manufacturers and industry partners, supporting campaigns and launches across both established and developing markets.

Marketing experience and shooting industry knowledge

Scott Country International is looking for someone with a strong grounding in marketing, excellent communication skills and the ability to combine creative thinking with commercial awareness.

The company is particularly interested in hearing from candidates who already have experience within the shooting, hunting, field sports, outdoor, optics, thermal imaging, night vision or associated industries, bringing with them an understanding of the market, its customers and the products used within it. Industry knowledge and an understanding of the shooting and outdoor market would be particularly valuable, with the business keen to attract someone who can bring existing sector insight while continuing to develop their marketing experience.

Based in Dumfries, open to candidates across the UK

The role is based at Scott Country International’s headquarters on Dumfries Enterprise Park in Heathhall, Dumfries, providing an opportunity for candidates considering a move to Scotland to join an established specialist business operating across the UK.
