Best shooting trousers
Every shooter needs a pair of handy shooting trousers and/or overtrousers. They should be hardwearing, lightweight and waterproof, with plenty of secure pockets. Adjustable waistbands make for flexibility and poppers will be easier to manage with cold wet fingers. Remember to check the trouser length so they won’t drag along the ground in the mud.
Overtrousers are ideal for slipping on at short notice if the weather turns wet and can make the difference between an enjoyable day and one you spend feeling damp and miserable. We have searched for pairs that are easy to carry in a pocket or bag.
